Collaborative commission with Alan Hockett. Six-week Artist Residency with Burnham-on-Crouch Primary School culminating in work presented as part of an eight-day, 100 mile walking event. Commissioned by Rochford District Council in partnership with Kinetika, Thurrock and funded by Arts Council England.
The 'finale' - the children created a flotiila of paper boats launched to mark the start of the Festival celebrations. During the project they created a series of clay tiles from found objects which were presented to the Mayor of Burnham as a time capsule which then journeyed with the Burnham flag, crossed the river and was presented to Wallasea Island Wild Coast Project to be buried on the site and its location geo-tagged.
